Do you intend to travel to Rwanda in order to follow chimpanzees? A close-up look at the endangered species in its native environment is the reward of our three-day chimpanzee trekking excursion to Nyungwe Forest National Park.
You’ll be taken to Nyungwe Forest National Park following breakfast at your Kigali hotel. Visit Nyanza’s historic King’s Palace en way. After eating lunch, continue on your way to the park. Gisakura Guest House/Nyungwe Forest Lodge for dinner and the night
After an early breakfast, you will head to the park headquarters for a briefing at six in the morning. Chimpanzee tracking in Nyungwe Forest National Park begins at 6:00 am, in contrast to other nations like Uganda where the activity begins at 8:00 am. When you first approach the forest, it will be dark, but you will be able to view primate species like Colobus monkeys and forest birds. Later, when it is already daylight, you will be able to see chimpanzees. After the tracking, head back to your accommodation for lunch before starting the guided woodland walk in the afternoon. Go back to Gisakura Guest House/Nyungwe Forest for dinner and spend the night there.
After eating breakfast early in the morning, return to Kigali. You will visit the Rwanda National Museum in Butare town and eat lunch on the way to the city. To catch your trip home, continue on to Kigali, where you will be dropped off at the airport.
