Get a briefing on gorilla trekking in the jungle at the park headquarters after breakfast. During your mountain gorilla trip, drive to the beginning point of any designated gorilla family trek, your ranger will walk you through all the dos and don’ts. Your age, fitness level, and interests may determine your gorilla family allocation. Up until you come across your designated gorilla family, your guide will be telling you about the plants, birds, and other species in the Bwindi Forest during your gorilla trekking tour in Uganda. You will only be able to spend an hour photographing and studying mountain gorillas during your once-in-a-lifetime experience. After that, you will have to trek back to the park headquarters to pick up your certificate, and then you will drive back to your reserved resort for dinner and overnight.
