This four-day tour of Queen Elizabeth National Park in Uganda will allow you to see wildlife, including over 606 bird species and about 100 kinds of small and large mammals, making it an exceptional safari. Elephants, a large number of hippos, large predators, the endangered giant forest hog, beautiful Uganda Kobs, Nile crocodiles, and several antelope species can all be found at Queen Elizabeth National Park. All of this wildlife can be seen from various areas of the park, including the Kyambura Gorge, the remote Ishasha Sector, which is well-known for its tree-climbing lions, the Mweya Peninsula, which has a great waterside, and Kasenyi Tracker, which offers herbivores, mammals, and predators a place to graze.

Our company representative and your safari driving guide will be waiting for you when you arrive at Entebbe International Airport. They will take you to your accommodation in Kampala for supper, overnight, and a briefing regarding your tour of Queen Elizabeth National Park and Uganda in general.

Note: If time permits, your guide will take you on a tour of the city to see the historical sites both inside and outside of Kampala, including the shrines of the Namugongo martyrs, the Uganda National Museum, the Old Kampala Mosque, the Bahai temple, the Twekobe Palace, the Amin torture chambers, and the local Rolex market.

Meet your driver guide at the reception after your early breakfast. Your Queen Elizabeth Uganda safari will begin with a stopover at Kayabwe, the Equator crossing point, where you can watch the water experiment, take some memorial photos, and then continue on your drive. Stop again for lunch and refreshments, and then continue on your way to Queen Elizabeth National Park check into your reserved lodge. You will pass past tea plantations, rift valleys, gorges, open forest savanna, and herds of Ankole long-horned cattle on this journey. When you first arrive at the park, check into your lodge to unwind before playing in the evening in the Ishasha sector, which is well-known for its tree-climbing lions and the greatest area for elephants. Eat a hearty breakfast to start the day, then head to Ishasha Sector for another game drive to look for additional animals, namely tree-climbing lions. Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park’s northern sector for your afternoon boat excursion on the Kazinga Channel following your morning game drive. Expect to see numerous hippopotamuses, Nile crocodiles, and other aquatic creatures during your afternoon boat ride on the Kazinga Channel.
