During the 5-day mountain gorilla and wildlife sighting safari, you will visit Queen Elizabeth National Park to see buffaloes, elephants, lions, leopards, and numerous antelopes, as well as various bird species, chimpanzees, and lions that climb trees. Last but not least is Lake Bunyonyi for leisure and kayaking, followed by Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park for a mountain gorilla safari in Uganda.

Our company representative and your driving guide will meet you at the Entebbe International Airport and take you to the hotel you have reserved in Kampala City. Your driver guide, who speaks English, will meet you at the lobby after breakfast so that you may start your journey to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park the next day for your mountain gorilla safari tour in Uganda. You will halt at the Equator crossing site en route to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. Watching the water experiment that illustrates the force movement where the two hemispheres split will excite you. After leaving the equator, drive by the Ankole settlements with their long-horned cattle and undulating hills to the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. Drive directly to the park, which is home to half of the world’s surviving mountain gorillas, after making another lunch break in Mbarara City. Due to its geographical aspect, this region is often referred to as the Switzerland of East Africa. Arrive at the lodge you have reserved to unwind, have dinner, and spend the night.

After breakfast, head to the park information center for a pre-tracking briefing on the dos and don’ts before embarking on your eagerly anticipated adventure, the “mountain gorilla safari Uganda.” The duration of the gorilla tracking is unknown, but it is estimated to be between two and eight hours, depending on the movements of the mountain gorilla family you are assigned to. You will come across chimpanzees, black and white Columbus monkeys, vervet monkeys, and many other primates and mammals when following mountain gorillas. Your guide will be able to tell you about everything you come across. Following your encounter with the mountain gorillas, you are permitted to spend an hour capturing pictures and savoring these serene creatures. Then head back to the park information center to pick up your tracking accomplishment certificate, have lunch and some refreshments, and drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park. After an unforgettable mountain gorilla safari in Uganda, wake up early, eat a hearty breakfast, and then travel to Kalinzu Forest Reserve for a half-day guided chimpanzee tracking walk. About 414 tree and shrub species, 378 bird species, including the Great Blue Turaco, Black and White Cascket, Cuckoos, and Sunbirds, and six primate species, including chimpanzees, can be found in this forest. Return to your resort to unwind, eat lunch, and then go for your afternoon boat safari on the well-known Kazinga Channel following your exciting chimpanzee tracking safari. The largest population of hippopotamuses in Africa is found in the Kazinga Channel.

Many Nile crocodiles can be seen there, and birdwatchers will love the sight of hundreds and hundreds of birds along the channel’s coast. Elephants, buffaloes, and antelopes are among the many other large and small mammals that can be seen swimming and relieving their thirst along the shoreline.
