Upon your arrival, receive your safari briefings and meet your tour guide at Kigali International Airport. Later, travel to the northern region of Musanze, which is home to the renowned endangered mountain gorillas. Following breakfast and your morning wake-up call, proceed to the park headquarters where the guides for Volcanoes National Park will give you a gorilla trekking briefing. Begin your trip, which will vary in duration based on the gorilla group you have been assigned to, after you have been assigned to a particular group. Before you head back down the volcano slopes, you will spend an hour with them. After lunch at the resort, head to the Burera-Ruhondo twin lakes in the afternoon. After breakfast, proceed to park headquarters for instructions on monitoring the endangered golden monkeys, a stunning and unique primate of the blue monkey family that is native to the Albertine Rift Valley and associated with bamboo.
